The only sushi place in town. The place is great. Henry, the owner, has a place in the Twin Cities metro, too.

My husband and I have always enjoyed really good sushi and have been to several places in the US looking for good sushi. While Shanghi Bistro's sushi is good, the price is not even comparable to the sushi we have had in San Francisco and beyond. It's almost as if they know this is the only place within miles to get sushi and they decided to hammer the local people. Also, they no longer take reservations unless there is a large group, which can mean long waits for the table of two or four.

I love going to Shanghi Bistro for lunch! You can't beat the price! The lunch combination selection is huge. And for between $4.00 and $7.00 you will get a combination meal that you can take home and have more for another meal! You start out with your choice of soup, the hot and sour is excellent. Then the meal comes with white or fried rice, plenty of it too, and an excellent stir fried meat, shrimp, or fish meal. They also include a custom toast of sort. It's well worth the price. It is a busy place, which tells you something for sure. People love the sushi though I am not a sushi fan. Sometimes during busy hours at night it can be slower service but patience and having a nice time is good. The pot stickers are to die for! So is the hot and sour soup..........the strange flavor chicken is excellent, as well as the Mongolian Beef, Kung Poa Chicken or shrimp.............it's all quite good. You won't be disappointed.

Enjoy! Lunch is my favorite cause it's such a deal!
