Nice selection and impressive options on menu. It was a lot of food for an affordable price. The salsa options were interesting and tasted hand crafted. Service was excellent and all of the things we ordered were delicious! It has cafeteria decor, but who cares. Will definately be return customers. We considered the a find!

The chef at Taqueria la Polanita has moved from Supermercado Sandoval (down the road) and he is fantastic. I am a bit skeptical at how long this restaurant will remain open, as it is never busy. I do hope people start giving it a try, as this restaurant serves authentic Mexican dishes and would be a great asset to our community.

Living in the suburbs of Chicago I had little hope for good Mexican Food in Eau Claire, but the great reviews had us interested so we tried it out. Almost skipped when we saw the place but man are we glad we didn't. Food couldn't be any better and it seemed to be lighter and healthier than I'm accustomed to.

The atmosphere is lacking, but it's not expensive so that's okay. Very good food, seems like they don't cover everything in cheese like a lot of Mexican restaurants do. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Staff was very friendly. They served fountain drinks, free chips and salsa sauce (not chucky style). Food was your typical Mexican fare that you are seeing pop up in a lot of cities. Nothing super special but good. The restaurant is a remodeled strip mall shop that has open windows, open seating, and no decoration. The price was just as high as your high end places. They need to remodel, and tint the windows.
