This place was the perfect location for accessing the trails for a fun snowmobiling weekend! Room was clean and nicely furnished. Staff was very friendly! Only complaint was that there was no cookie sheet available (or maybe I just could not find it). Would definitely recommend to anyone considering a winter or summer trip to Eagle River. We are already planning a trip to go back in the summer!
Have been an owner at LF for over 35 years and always enjoy returning to our “home away from home” here in the Northwoods.
Whether we are swimming out to the raft with the grandkids in July or walleye fishing surrounded by the splendor of autumn or bundling up to xcountry ski in the Nicolet Forest, we can count on a tidy well-equipped condo and a friendly staff.
Our most-recent visit was to partake in all the fun at the LaBlatt Pond Hockey Tournament on Dollar Lake less than 10 minutes away.
We enjoyed the pool and hot tub every night after parking our snowmobiles right outside our updated condo. We'll stay at Lake Forest Resort again because it's located right on the trail!
Super clean and well kept older property. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, close to town but remote and beautiful.
As noted, super helpful and friendly staff but the unit we stayed in was in need of upgrading.I felt the trade of our 5 star time share to this was disappointing. Winter in the Eagle River is beautiful and we did have a good time. We used the pool, hot tub and work out center a couple times. They were nice. Only downside was that you needed to drive to get to it. About 1/2 mile. Lots of places to eat in the area. If you love Northwoods Wisconsin you'd love this setting. The woods were beautiful. Some of the Eagle River shops were closed for a portion of the day or closed for the winter so if you like shopping you need to go when the shops are open. The highlight of our unit was the wood burning fireplace but be prepared to spend a decent amount of money on firewood if you like long nights in front of a fire.
i stay at Lake Forest at least once a year if possible. Friendly, courteous service, warm hospitality, always feels like home.
We are owners of an October week (week 41) at this time share resort.
We rented here a couple times before deciding to own a week as the Eagle River area has so much to offer everyone in your family. You owe it to yourself to see Sue, the resort manager, for an affordable price to own a week for your family. You will be glad you did!
The resort is well managed and kept up very nicely. Every year we go there the resort has added something new to their condos and grounds. They pride themselves in updates to condo furnishings, boat docks and grounds. The housekeeping and grounds staff keep the place in tip-top shape and if you have a concern they are on it in a timely manner.
If you bring a boat just be advised that they don’t have an on site boat launch but will give you a key to use one very close to the resort or you can drive to the local marina which is a few minutes away who charge a reasonable fee to launch your boat. The marina has knowledgeable staff for new & used boat sales, repairs and all your boating needs.
