We dined here on Valentines day. They did have a prefixed menu and that was fine. Staff and service were great. Cheerful staff from the hostess to our wait staff. Food was just ok. My husband order scallops which of coarse we thought would be sea scallops. Sadly they were 8 tiny bay scallops. They were not over cooked but the crust on them was soggy served with plain fingerling roasted potatoes. Pecan encrusted chicken was very good.An appetizer was very good bruschetta. We will give them a try in summer months they have a great outdoor patio.

Although we live a short distance from this restaurant, we had never been. We went yesterday and it was such a surprise! First of all, the restaurant is very cute. Perfect first date or romantic setting for a couple. Its very clean! The server was very friendly. We both ordered the fish fry combos. Everything about our food was amazing. I can't wait to go back. Great job! This is a little out of the way for most people but DEFINETLY worth it. The baked cod was out of this world.

We came for brunch after seeing the great reviews. Nice service initially, cute atmosphere and yummy chai latte but our food was not good.
I ordered the vegetable hash. Most of the vegetables were cold and my toast was forgotten.
Also ordered the eggs sheridan which was topped with a broken hollandaise sauce. The fact that someone let it leave the kitchen like that shows a lack of standards immediately.
Spinach was borderline slimy and the hash browns were only cooked on the side facing up.
We sent our food back politely and paid for our teas.
No chef came out to apologize and no one said a word to us upon leaving, only our poor waitress apologizing for something that was not her fault.
With service like that don't waste your time. There are better food options, definitely restaurants that treat you better especially in a circumstance as such. We need more quality in this area of the city.

Sheridan's is a really a unique spot and worth a drive from Racine! You will be impressed with the atmosphere and food at this bistro-type café but also with its pleasantly elegant/casual adjacent dining room too! We waited just a tad bit longer for our breakfast but the atmosphere, especially by the fire-place, was so inviting that we didn't mind. The menu has a unique selection of breakfast items which make a decision hard! We both settled on the poached eggs, spinach and ham with hollandaise sauce on a baguette. Your choice of potatoes comes with it. We both agreed it was delicious, a little pricy but worth it! A "must stop" when your in the area or just out for a drive.
