We enjoyed our stay at this bed and breakfast very much. The hosts are friendly and respect our privacy. The atmosphere makes you feel like you're truly in a German guest house. The bedrooms (each with private bath) on the first and second floors overlook a commons area. The beds are interesting in that they are high off of the ground, in the old world style, and I used the provided platform to climb in--I felt like a queen. The bed is extremely comfortable and we slept well. The commons areas have reading nooks, games, comfortable couches and chairs, a fireplace, tv viewing area, and beverages available. We were able to select from a huge library of movies. Continental breakfat was delicious. The hosts designed and built the structure with authentic historic European components--they can offer a very interesting story of the structure's history, if one is interested. This place is a find.
