We rented a Canoe. Staff was very informative and looked like a great place to take a family on a camping trip. Lots of kids activities and ideas at the main building. Beautiful!

On a family road trip stopped at the park and had a family picnic. Had great views of the lake. The kids had fun playing on the playground equipment.

Usual government park, adequate facilities, even though most but not all of the areas and rest rooms had been closed for the season when we were there in early October. All the sights were still there and very pretty scenery.

I've camped here since I was a kid, and made some great memories. You can rent canoes at the park, there is a beach and it's also a great place for snowshoeing.
However, the playground equipment by the campgrounds needs upgrading and it's a little bit of a drive to get to a gas station, so make sure if you want any goodies/snacks to purchase them before going. The bathrooms are decent and the camping areas are pretty spacious. Staff is always friendly as well.

Came here looking for some nice lake-swimming but was not enticed to get in this water at the beach. The water has a distinct rust tinge and was very chilly on a hot summer day. Lots of insects. We hung out here for a little while, but it was pretty un exciting. The main point of amusement for us was a group of Amish people having an absolute blast in their playground and in the water. As far as Wisconsin State Parks go, Governor Dodge remains my favorite for lakes and tramping about.
