“Best steaks ever!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

First of all, this place has the most delicious, juicy, tender steaks, as well as scrumptious garlic smashed potatoes. The side of sugar snap peas is a superb addition to the meal. The 7 layer salad is a nice change from the usual. Then the ambience......this is a quaint & charming old stone building with a warm & inviting atmosphere. The bar is small but cozily friendly. And then the music, wonderful old jazz tunes. This is always my choice for my birthday dinner as well as anytime I'm in the mood for steak. I absolutely love this place!!!

“One Great Eatery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

Simply quaint, warm, romantic, and hospitable with healthy servings of good tasty food. Cedarburg has very few full service restaurants. We wanted something close to our overnight stay and it was recommended highly by many of the locals and it more than lived up to the recommendations. It is not the easiest to find as you head south on Washington Ave. It is located off the main street to the East back down a narrow drive. It is located in an old restored home at the end of the drive. Service was top notch with a great selection. We had the fish dinner which was excellent.

“Worth searching for”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2012 via mobile

It may be a little hard to find but it is worth it. I stopped for a burger for lunch. Yummy. Juicy. Flavorful. And great fries all in a comfortable setting. It is a little dark inside, but the staff is friendly and the food is good

“Awesome food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 29, 2012

They don't take reservations, it gets busy around 5:30, you'll be waiting for a table. Our waitress was very knowledgable and friendly, everything we had was the best! Love it, will be back.

“Nice cozy place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 20, 2012

All eateries in town were small, crowded and overpriced. We found this great place heading out of town tucked behind an office complex. An old house with giant outdoor room behind. Walk in door and step back in time to an old world experience. This place had great atmosphere to dine slowly and be treated royally by staff. What great food and really nice owners. We went for lunch, I think dinner by candlelight would be something special here. Leave your kids to McDonalds and come as a couple.
