I stay here about once a month. It is really easy to get to, on Brown Deer Rd, an exit off Rt. 43. The common area off the lobby has a large TV and fireplace. People seem to congregate there. There are lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.

The rooms are always clean and stay that way during the entire stay. The front desk staff is very helpful as well as very nice.

I recently spent 2 weeks at the Marriot in Brown Deer. This establishment was clean, offered many amenities, and was in a safe area but it was the staff that made for such a pleasant experience. Crystal and the staff at the front desk could not have been more courteous, helpful, and professional. Terrence with the kitchen staff gave recommendations on places to go and his recomenndations were just what I was looking for. I wish I had consulted with him when I first arrived. Last but not least, Tammy the bartender was absolutely wonderful. She is charismatic, outgoing, and had a sincere interest in making sure each guest was treated with a four star experience. I hope the Marriot knows how lucky they are to have such an employee.

We traveled to this area for a wedding and stayed at The Courtyard. The hotel was very nice and clean for a hotel in a non-resort, non-city area. The location is quiet and easy to get to - a short ride away from the interstates. We had no complaints about the room.
The breakfast buffet is good. However there is no other food service on weekends. The advertisement states restaurant for breakfast and dinner but does not say Monday- Thursday only. There are places to eat a few miles down the road - many fast food chains. There is an indoor pool which is extremely tiny.
For the price and location, this certainly is an adequate place to stay if you are in the area and don't want to be near the city or airport. There was also a convenient airport shuttle but it does have limited hours.

I stayed at the Courtyard Milwaukee North on Brown Deer Road for business in March.

It's a cliche, but if you've stayed at one suburban Courtyard, then you've pretty much stayed at them all. That said, this Courtyard is just fine and appears to be well-maintained and a decent value. Parking is free, cookies are available at check-in, and the facilities are all in good repair.

The neighborhood is exceptionally quiet and even gets nicely dark at night (as opposed to having streetlights and signs shining through the window). While the hotel is close to some office and industrial parks, it actually sits across the street from residential areas and there are no major buildings immediately next to the property.

If you're looking for a hotel with hopping nightlife and clubs and restaurants within walking distance, this one's not for you. If all you want is a good night's sleep in a quiet, clean, comfortable and professional setting, it's perfect.
