This is another one of those chains where I struggle to understand its popularity. It's not bad, but it just isn't as good as the prices suggest. I honestly don't feel like it's much more than one step above Olive Garden, and I don't mean that in a way to knock Olive Garden. They're both good for what they're trying to be, but I just don't feel like there's any reason to spend so much more at Carrabba's. The service is very good, The last time we were in for lunch the waiter asked if we would like any blue cheese on our salad. We said yes - then when we get the bill they charged us $2 each for blue cheese, which was literally 4 or 5 crumbles. I don't have a problem with the upcharge, but they need to tell you about this when you order instead of innocently asking if you want parmesan or blue cheese on your salad. I don't dislike it, but the food just seems average for the price and I don't understand why it's so popular - it's always packed.
