Never having eaten at Aliota's, we questioned whether it would be worth stopping in for lunch. The sign that said "Immediate Seating" was what sealed the deal because we had an appointment to keep within the hour.
It was noon and the dining area was 1/3 filled with the 70 and older crowd. My impression was that Aliota's has been around for a long time and continues to attract the same customers even though they have aged.
The wait staff was friendly and quick to take our orders. My husband had a stuffed tomato with tuna and I settled on the "two some" - a side salad and mostacholi. The dishes were colorfully presented and the portions were just the right size for us. Our coffee cups were filled several times during the meal.
I would definitely recommend the restaurant based on our visit. For those with heartier appetites, there were more ample selections on the menu.
