Common areas pretty nice, staff very helpful and friendly. Got rooms two separate nights last week through Priceline. Quite affordable, but pretty odd mix of poor repair and fabulous beds. I see why so affordable. Moldy ceilings, peeling paint in bathrooms, stained and stinking carpets and corridors. Stayed in Wisconsin wing first night, not too stinky. Came back at end of trip and stayed in Brookfield wing. Corridors reeked. Doubt there had been cats, but smelled like it. All the tiles in the elevator were cracked and broken. Room furniture, desk specifically was chipped and buckled along edge. Would snag clothing. I would not have stayed the second night had it not been for hertz rental there and airport shuttle. Kicker is, shuttle didn't start until after my plane scheduled to leave. Had to get a cab anyway. But, the beds were comfortable, linens terrific and staff great and heat didn't make a ton of noise like in some hotels. Thermostat on wall.

ok, not so much the towels, they are nice an clean, but .. unless they are preserving the crime scene, they should either commit to replacing the carpets or just finish staining them all the same darker color.

on the uptick - friendly staff, quiet rooms (out side noise only, you can hear the TT from the next room) good price, convenient location, gym, pool, good internet speed.

Room Tip: same old rule - stay off the ground floor unless you find the noise of cars starting and doors slamming peaceful.

Hi Ken B,

Thank you for staying with us at the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel.

I hope you were able to enjoy the Spotted Cow beer we serve in Alfiere Lounge. Wisconsin is well known for our craft beers and we proudly offer many in our restaurant and lounge.

I’m sorry you were let down by the conditions in our guest rooms. Our last major renovation was completed in 2008. We do have a carpet cleaning schedule for all our guest rooms and public areas. I have passed on your comments to our Executive Housekeeper for her review.

We are currently in the planning phase of our next renovation and hope to begin towards the end of 2013!

I’m glad you enjoyed our friendly team members and our ample, complimentary hotel amenities.

Thank you for giving us your feedback and we hope to get the chance to welcome you back, soon.

Warm regards,

The Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel

Good front desk staff, but the rooms are like Red Roof Inn, and the carpet is worn out and stained. It is more like 2.5 stars. It's a good location though, so close to the I-94 freeway and next door to a shopping mall and restaurants.

Hi greg w,

Thank you for staying at the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel.

I apologize you were disappointed in our guest rooms. Our last major renovation was completed in 2008. We do have a carpet cleaning schedule for all our guest rooms and public areas, to try to keep our hotel looking as fresh as possible. I have already passed on your comments to our Executive Housekeeper for her review.

We are currently in the planning phase of our next renovation and hope to begin towards the end of 2013!

I’m glad you enjoyed our friendly Front Desk Team and the convenient location of our hotel.

Thank you for giving us your honest opinion and we hope to see you again, in the future.

Warm regards,

Upon arrival, the front desk supervisor was extremely helpful and friendly. He answered any questions we had and even called the room an hour later to make sure everything was ok. As for the room....it was average. For an upscale hotel I would give the room a 1. For an average hotel I would give the room a 5. There were stains on the carpet, the desk looked like it was hit with a weed wacker. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was decent size. We were awoken at 6am because of the noise in the hallways. People coming and going....the walls are super thin. The location is great. It is super close to shopping and restaurants.

Room Tip: All rooms are non smoking. If you are a smoker get a room on the ground floor that opens to the pool area. They have sliding glass doors that lead out to the terrace where you can smoke.

It's hotel is a nice Sheraton but average. Nice gym facility, friendly at the front desk and the rooms were fine. Great location next to a nice mall. Good food options close by. Basic bar and place to eat in the hotel. Cozy fireplace in the lobby. I would recommend the hotel for business travelers.
