The ICF will give you a great potted summary of conservation work underway for whooping cranes in the midwest, as well as a chance to see some examples of the international varieties of cranes in their habitat enclosures.

Good for young and old alike, in a beautiful setting. Entertaining and thought provoking

The Crane Foundation site is just a short distance from a busy highway but you feel like you're "away" from it all. Quiet (except for the call of the birds) and fun to walk around and see the wide variety of cranes and learn about each of them. The foundation is doing very important work to keep this species with us.

I went along with my friends to be a good sport. Glad I did. These birds are beautiful and fascinating to watch in this marvelous location.

I have visited ICF on many occasions and am always impressed with the work that they do there. We have a B&B nearby and visiting
ICF is one of the activites we suggest that our guests do. They are never disappointed. It is the only place like it in the world and it is such an interesting and educational place.

Very knowledgeable tour guides and they have every species of crane to view. They do good work. The walk around the exhibit had water available and benches to sit on if you became tired. The weather was hot and not much shade on the tour so the water came in handy.
