I went to this casino for the first time in about 10 years. They did a nice job on the remodel. The only complaint that I had is that the crap tables were dead. No one was playing. You would have thought they would drop the minimum to play to $5.

We stayed here for a family reunion over the Labor Day weekend. We had a family suite, a couple of rooms and a space in the RV park. The family suite was really nice and had plenty of room for all the "Rug Rats".. The RV park is brand new and the quietest park we have ever stayed in at a casino. Everything was clean and sparkling and only partially filled over this busy weekend. Large pull through spaces and all had both 50 and 30 Amp hook-ups. A park staff member met us at the site and directed us in and gave us the WIFi password. The WiFi was spotty though.

The hotel and check-in staff was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. Very short line at check in. The casino part of this complex needs a little help. They have a ways to go before they can compete with Las Vegas casino's. The four card poker table was cool though, but hard to get a seat. Being near large metro areas means they don't have at the top of their game as do Las Vegas hotels that have more competition.

The Poker Room is about five years behind the times with no Flat Screens for sports. They had a old rear screen with a very snowy analog picture and I couldn't tell which teams were even playing. No card shufflers and no computerized players list. They only had one table of 3-6 and two 1-2 NL games going on Friday night and they were filled with local grinders. The dealers were adequate, but the room has an unfriendly vibe to it. Not a fun place, like the card rooms out west. The cocktail waitress was in her eighties (quesstimate) and the drinks were $5.50 each. No food service at the tables.

We only ate at the Buffet once and it was only mediocre. The layout was not very easy to navigate and looked like the whole buffet area was an afterthought. We decided that the pricey other restaurants would not be worth it since the buffet was below average and probably used the same chefs.

Overall I would rate the Hotel as excellent and the Casino as fair.

Not considerate to seniors, handicap, or vets.
Only think of the young, because of the walking. Charging extra for the rooms closer to the casino and the eatting places. Will never go back and have told others of the discrimation to the above named.

Always great adult fun.A little hard to get too since they moved HWY12 and the dum roundabouts were put in.But all in all when you get there you'll have a fun time.
