“Great food with a fun enviroment”

Small cafe with great food and very friendly servers. The grilled sirloin with gorganzola cheese with the chipolte cream sauce is my favorite!! Everything is made to order and the desserts are to die for!

“Not just your ordinary cafe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2012

The Little Village Cafe was recommend by the folks at the Al Ringling Theatre; no wonder! Just a little history of the place; this is the original site of the Baraboo News Republic, then became a diner (the original counter is still there!) and is now a restaurant with an extraordinary menu, wine & beer list! There are original framed photos throughout the restaurant so, in addition to your graciously served meal, you'll enjoy sharing the stories of times gone by. The food is excellent. We especially loved the appetizer of warm goat cheese, olive oil infused with parsley, capers, & roasted red peppers... with warm bread for dunking & delicious wine. Can't wait to go back.

“Disappointed in the Service”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2012

This restaurant was recommended to us by a staff member at the resort in which we stayed, so we were very excited to go there. The food was very good - was very impressed with the jerk chicken burrito they were offering as a special. But as always, no matter how good the food is, if one is treated curtly by the servers as if one is bothering them, then the entire experience is ruined.
