The Rushes is a nice complex each condo has 2 stories and quite a bit of woods nearby to give you that outdoor feeling. Bikes are free to rent and there are quite a bit of walking trails. The pool is indoor and decent size. Locker rooms are decent but small. A game room is near the pools and plenty to keep you occupied.

We have been coming to the Rushes for 25 years and find it a wonderful getaway.

The units are 2 bedroom and many of them are right on Kangaroo Lake. They have full kitchens, fireplace and a supply of firewood.

You are 1 hour away from Green Bay, but you can feel you are very far away.

Summers can be very busy, but the off season is quiet.

Pool, hot tub and exercise room inrec center, lots of good restaurants around.

A first-rate place.

Room Tip: Units 100 to 1600 are all on the water, rest are woods view. Only 48 units and that is all there wi...

This resort has so many winter options - cross country skiing, snowshoe, walks in the nature preserve, indoor pool/whirlpool, ice cream social, crafts, etc. In addition to this, the condos are very comfortable with many conveniences including washer/dryer, wood burning fireplace with wood included, beautiful views of Kangaroo Lake and nature outside your door. A wonderful getaway week!

We did a time share trade here, and we were not dissapointed at all. The property is very conveniently located in Door county, very well maintained and spacious. It is on the small side, but had plenty to do even though we were in Door County "off season". A nice park nearby for hiking, tenis and shuffleboard, close to horseback riding. Nice little pool/game area for the kids, too.

Room Tip: all are good - "rooms" are actually 1/2 a duplex!

This property, located conveniently in the center of Door county, was breath taking beautiful in mid October, 2012. We stayed in a two bedroom condo that was clean, comfortable and well stocked with kitchen supplies. There was even plenty of firewood for the fireplace in the one car garage.
The water exercise class was great fun and fitness center adequate. There are movies, games, and even bicycles to borrow. The desk staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to answer the questions of guests. We snagged a mid week special so the price was right.

Room Tip: Lakeside would be wonderful, but the hilltop where we were was set in the middle of a beautiful fore...

This was our first visit to The Rushes but it will not be out last. We found the property to be very clean and friendly - a great place for a relaxing getaway. The condo we had was extremely spacious. It had everything you would want for a week's vacaton including 3 flat screen TV's, 2 decks, a jacuzzi tub, washer and dryer, nice grill, garage, and all the kitchen gadgets. The location is great on Kangaroo Lake. We loved taking the hobies and kayaks out for a ride in the shallow water. Other activities included nature walks, ping pong, shuffleboard, paddleboats, and indoor pool and hot tub - plenty to keep busy - or not! If you looking for a place to go out to eat try the nearby Coyote Roadhouse. We are looking forward to our return visit to this lovely resort.
