The area was beautiful and the rooms were very nice, with a good view of lake Michigan. The service was also top notch. The resort only had some of the amenties, so we had to go into town or to another town to eat and drink.. (the drive wasn't very far)... We were there on new years, they had a little party for the guests and long time residents of BH.. it was nice also. There wasn't much night life, many restaurants or much turisty stuff right there, altho those things were a short drive.. It was very nice. I'd go back for a quite getaway or relaxation.

We were very pleased with the Yacht club! I was a little nervous about what to expect based on this webstes photos, and the Yacht Clubs website photos, but this place was great. We booked late for a Labor Day weekend and couldnt have been happier with the choice. The rooms were very nice and Baileys Harbor seems to be 15 minutes from everything on the peninsula!!

Hotel is very nice right on the water. Very Clean. If you want a getaway and just peace and quiet, this is the place to come. But if you're traveling with another couple and want a place to at least get drinks of any evening, this is not the place. Try Fish Creek or Egg Harbor.

Our condo (317) was tastefully decorated in nautical/Door County theme, very clean, well-maintained, very roomy for a family of four and plenty of sleeping choices. Gorgeous view of Lake Michigan and nice deck. Indoor and outdoor pools warm and inviting...perfect for our younger kids. Being on the Lake Michigan side on hwy 57, is quieter than the Green Bay side (42)--we frequented the nice, sandy beach on Ridges. We did do a lot of driving to the "Green Bay side" to visit the busy harbor towns--only 10 minutes away, but at the end of the day it was nice to drive back to the quiet side to relax and hang out at the nice beach only 2 minute drive from the Yacht Club. The staff was very pleasant. The only downside was there were no shops or restaurants within walking distance-but driving distances were short and very scenic. Convenient location for taking fishing charters.

We've been vacationing in Door County for ten years, and we just got back from one of our best stays ever thanks to BHYC. The place was very quaint & clean. The indoor & outdoor pools were very nice & WARM, so our kids had a blast. Our room had a small kitchenette, which was handy, so we didn't have to eat out for every meal. The grounds were well maintained, with gorgeous views of Lake Michigan. There were picnic tables & gas grills (and a Rainbow play set) so you could cook out and just relax by the lake. It was so peaceful & private, without the constant traffic of people you get when staying right off of one of the main highways. In the past we stayed in Ephraim, which is a nice location, but Baileys Harbor definitely has a more relaxing feel, especially at BHYC. "The Quiet Side of Door County" is right on. We will most certainly be staying here again next year!
