We stayed down the road at the Village Inn as we were touring the Greenbrier Resort the next day. We walked to the Route 60 Bar and Grille. There is a restaurant section, but we sat at a high top in the bar. It was not a large menu, so we decided to have the Toby burger. It was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. The grilled onions and spices really made it taste great.
We had a chance to talk to the owner and a staff person, and they were very friendly and very helpful. They told us a scenic route to take out of town the next day -- it is the Midland Trail, Route 60. They also can tell you much about the history of the town and the Greenbrier Resort.
This is not a fancy place, but it is genuine and has good food. I wouldn't hesitate to go there again.
