Have ate there for the past 30 years and the fish sandwich is just as delicious now as it was then. They really give you a lot of fish.

Loved the options.. little taken aback for the price for tarter sauce packets? Seems odd right? But the fish on bread was so good.. old time favorite.

Signature sandwich was said to be a fish on soft white bread. It was. However did not think fish had a great deal of taste. Side was onion rings that had also been suggested.. Was a fresh batch and were so greasy and onions were too tough to eat without a knife. Place was busy both times we looked in so maybe just a bad day. Might, and mean might, try again but would need a further recommendation from a local ... there are other places to try instead.

This place has great fish sandwiches. We also ordered the crab, which was even better than the sandwiches. There are a lot of tables to sit at, but try to sit further away from Coleman's so that you don't smell like fish!
My only complaint is the long wait. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, which might be the reason they were so busy.
There is a large variety of drinks at the stand in the middle of the building (I can't remember the name of the place, but they sell cheese and a few baked goods like fudge).

This is a Wheeling staple for years. I love going there for a fish sandwich and beer battered onion rings. While you are there, you can check out the fresh fish counter to take something home to cook.
