“Additional servers needed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2014

We ate lunch at the Glassworks while attending a professional conference. There were not enough servers working and our food took 45 minutes to arrive after placing the order. They were out of the sandwich my husband wanted to order and it was only noon. I had turkey and spinach soup with a house salad. It was very good. My husband decided on a black and blue burger with coleslaw, which was also good.

“Great Hangout!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2014

I liked everything but the time they choose to close. Prices were in line with industry standard. The quality was good, and the atmosphere was right!

“Decent Food, Poor Service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2014

Being at Oglebay for a week long conference without a car limited my dining choices to Glass Works almost every night. I'll give the food a passing grade because after a week of eating at the same place the choices start to get limited and your bound to find something you don't like. Unfortunately the service was generally poor. You seemed to have to wait forever for every request to the waitstaff. Apparently the kitchen isn't directly attached so that might be a plausible excuse for slow food service but even a request for condiments or a refill of soda took forever. Eating here was the low point of an otherwise satisfactory stay at Oglebay.
