Interesting glass museum downstairs. Learn about the history of glass in this area, which had many famous producers at one time. Upstairs there is a wide selection of glass for sale, including some pieces from those local places, which no longer operate.

Not too large, but an excellent collection. My family is from the area, and has an interest in glass pieces; my teenage daughter loved it. R Allen did a demonstration which as really interesting.

Be careful purchasing tickets to both the museum and glass museum - Glass museum closes early and noone told us so we never got to visit.
Museum is nice though for adults - kids were bored but probably why 12 and under are free! :)

Eras of glass were arranged in a pleasing and information way to give us a wonderful overview of this nearly disappearing art. Go see these stunning examples of cut and pressed glass, carnival glass like no other and fantastic art glass and china. Wish I owned some so I could see it every day.

We have been there numerous times and enjoy the glass blower, Bob. He spends a lot of time
answering questions.

The store has something for everyone, from a couple of dollars to hundreds.

If you don't like glass, the house museum is very nice and the grounds are gorgeous. The cafe has good food for reasonable prices. And there are sever special events to enjoy.
