Too expensive. Very dark even though the sun was bright outside. Lady working there was very nice, hence not a terrible review.

We were pleased to find Wildcat Provisions on our trip. We didn't realize how desolate the mountain is and the limited access to groceries. Although we were there on closing weekend and they had very limited items on the shelf, we found it very helpful to pick up the few commodities that we left at home. The staff is also super friendly; so kudos to them for having the best customer service on the mountain.

If you didn't bring everything you need, this is the place to go for food and supplies. It's overpriced, of course. It's the only store up here. Do you really want to drive drive back down the mountain for some milk or aspirin? Hey, you're on vacation. Bring what you need to begin with, or pay the price. It's just down the road from Soaring Eagle Lodge.

If you are in a pinch for groceries or other essentials while on the mountain, you will probably find something similar to what you need at Wildcat Provisions, but at a high price of course. And it's a very small store, smaller in footprint than an average 7-11, so don't expect to find all brands and all types of items here (e.g., I went to look for Advil PM but only found regular Advil). They carry drinks, snacks, frozen meals, breakfast staples (eggs, milk, bread) and a small selection of cooking/baking items. We did see a few fruits and vegetables, but by that I mean one banana, two containers of strawberries, etc. The shuttle bus does stop here, so there's no need to walk, which is nice.

What a rip off a frozen pizza for 10 bucks?! I can understand convience but sheesh! Don't expect to walk into a grocery store it is like a crummy 7-11 with over priced food. Avoid this place at all costs. Customer service was terrible too.
