“Fresh and tasty”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

In my opinion, there are two truly good restaurants in Romney, and one of them is El Puente. Having been a city girl my whole life, I was a little dismayed by the offerings of several local eateries, especially those offering ethnic food. Ingredients are good, portions are satisfying, and service is fast. This does not taste like a small town Mexican restaurant in WV. (No offense to small towns and WV.) Vegetarians can get veggie fajitas and vegans can get the same and ask them to leave off sour cream and cheese.

“A very nice addition to Romney.”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

Very nice to have a mexican restaurant that is good and clean and close to the hotel where many people out of town stay. The people who work there are also very obliging.

“As good as the original”
Reviewed August 3, 2013 via mobile

As fans of El Puente in Capon Bridge, we decided to try El Puente 2 in Romney. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was delicious and served quickly. The atmpshere is not as nice as the original; it's kinda dark, some of the booths could use cushions, and some of the decorations are sleeping Mexicans under large sombreros (might be offensive to some). Once they get their liqor license, we'll be sure to return.
