Once you get to the top of the mountain, you have some great views of the surrounding area. The road leading to the top is thin. You will have to be careful with on coming cars.

Do not waste your time going here. Forever drive to the top. The view is nothing to write home about - far better overlook at Cooper's Rock in Mon. County.
Once at the top there is nothing to do. The trails are far from trails. If you do any type of hiking, this will leave you very disappointed. Didn't even get my heart rate up on the "hiking" trails here.
Also, the isolation is concerning if you're traveling alone. There is no visitor center, just a very unwelcoming "watch for Bear Attacks" sign.
Do yourself a favor and go see Seneca rocks if you're in the area, they at least look unique! Otherwise, don't travel to the area.

We visited this area on a very cloudy day when it was snowing and sleeting off and on, so we were not expecting to see much of the landscape on top. However, it was really cool to literally be among the clouds. Sound doesn't echo when you are up there and is kind of eerie. It is a very beautiful area and even saw some deer in an open area. The road to the top does narrow some and may make passing a vehicle more challenging if you are driving something that is wider than normal.

We went in February, there was a little snow at the top. It was really beautiful. There is a short loop trail at the top, that probably anyone could do no matter their age or physical condition. It’s cute. There is also the longer Huckleberry Trail, more like a real hiking trail.

There are lots of hidden little picnic areas all around, and a beautiful view at every clearing.

We passed some rental cabins along the way up, so we think it would be nice to come back when it’s green and blooming and warmer out. If it was this beautiful during winter, spring must be amazing!

It takes a while to get to the top of the Mtn. to the observation deck, but once you are there the view is stunning! 360 degree views of the WV Mountains!
