We stay at this exit 2 times a year, on the way back from our beach vacations. Anyhow, this is the first time at this place. Loved it. It isn't The Ritz but it is a nice clean place to stay after a day of driving. The pool is a decent size and clean. The following morning, I was looking in the pool area for an earing my daughter lost. I saw the detail the pool man was going through the verify PH and clean the area. Very thorough. They have a nice sitting and breakfast area but it gets VERY busy. The breakfast ladies were super nice and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. We were there March 10, 2012. There were several large sports groups and church groups. Tons of kids. They were very loud BUT the hotel staff made sure they weren't at bedtime without us having to say a word.

Room Tip: It is a VERY populated exit. Book it before you travel. It is always booked solid. Several people were turned away when we were checking in.

We've been staying at this Holiday Inn for the past (10) years when coming back from Myrtle Beach and it's been great. Great pool and hot tub area, and the rooms are clean. Great area for food too. It's a beacon in the night that everyone should experience.

We have just recently stayed here and found our room to be every very clean, extremely well fitted out with everything you could possibly need to make either a short or longer stay holiday/business trip comfortable. My partner had meetings to attend and so needed to use the car but the front desk staff were just fabulous and they offer a free shuttle service to drop you off and them collect you to just about anywhere that's near by. They arranged to take me to the Mall and on our way we dropped some other guests off at the train station and then collected me again at the appointed time. We had read that the rooms could be noisy(as it faces onto the main route 1, several lane highway) so we simply asked for a room away from the highway and were given block 18, well off the main road.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the highway. If taking your luggage up to a second floor would be difficult for you then make sure that you request a ground floor room as there are no lifts to any off the second floor apartment blocks just stairs.

A great place to stay!!! Very accommodating, clean-spotless, breakfast was wonderful. Beautiful location to stop by or just stay and watch it snow! Thanks Margaret for being such a great hostess! Pet friendly and they mean it! You are missing out if you stay anywhere else in the area!

We stayed here on our way to Florida and on the way back. A great experience. Rooms very nice. Breakfast was great. Margaret such a joy. After fighting 60 mph winds and rain it was so nice to deal with such a pleasant women.
