“The Best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 4, 2014

I am a local. We have some good places to eat here in Princeton but I have to say Campetre's has been the most consistent. In my opinion it's the best restaurant in the area. Food is always quick, hot and delicious. Reasonably priced. Service is always friendly and fun. You may have to wait in line a few minutes at times but it' worth it.

“What a find!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2014 via mobile

We stumbled upon this place when looking for something other than the usual chains during a stopover in Princeton. Our first tip that it was a winner was the line of people waiting for a table. Food and service did not disappoint. My fish tacos came with a fresh, tasty salad that included several vegetables. My husband declared his chicken burrito the best he'd ever eaten. We will return!

“If in Princeton; WV, do yourself a favour”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2014

We checked into the nearby Country Inn & Suites around 6PM on Friday night. The local Outback looked packed and the hotel staff recommended Campestre and we're really glad they did. The restaurant shares a parking lot with the local Walmart and there's no signage visible from the main road but it's well worth finding.

There was a small lineup inside when we got in but it was a short wait before we got seated. And, once seated, a basket of fresh made tortilla chips and salsa arrived; they were wonderful and were cheerfully refilled - important when your party includes hungry teenaged boys.

Our orders were taken quickly and our meals arrived as quickly. Everyone enjoyed their meals and most of us didn't get all the way through due to the generous portions. We enjoyed the following:
- Nacho Fajitas
- Enchiladas Supremas
- Fish Tacos
- Fajita Steak
- 4 x Softdrinks

The total bill came in at just over USD $50 including taxes and excluding tip. This meal was one of the surprise highlights of our weeklong holiday trip and we'll definitely add it to the itinerary.

One last throw away remark, it was fun practicing my tourist Spanish with the staff.

If you want Mexican while in the Princeton area this is the only place I would suggest. The service and food was great especially for the Princeton area.

“great service & good food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2014

Food varies between ok & very good. However it's never bad. The service is very good with a staff that's always friendly. Lunch prices are best & dinner prices are reasonable.
