We stayed at this hotel Friday July 26th on the 1st floor near the pool. The staff were nice (except they didn't help with our problem), the room was cheap and clean. Breakfast was just ok, but what we expected for what we paid. Our big problem was the noise. Beginning in the early morning hours, other guest were slamming their doors, yelling down the hall, chasing their kids playing "I'm gonna get you" and making them squeal loudly without any regard for those who might be sleeping. Staff did nothing to stop it despite the several calls I made to front desk. Upon check out I complained. Other hotels would comp your stay, especially since we were booked in and had pre-paid to stay again the folloing weekend. All we were given was a $20 discount, but since I had only slept a couple hours and had a long drive ahead I didn't argue. We were told we would be put on the 3rd floor the next weekend as that is the "quiet floor". Next weekend came around and we were on the third floor at the end of the hall in front of the stairwell. The 3rd floor was not the quiet floor by any means. People were screaming all night, slamming doors, partying and staff, again, did nothing about it. It's a shame because the hotel itself was nice. If it was managed better and things like this were not allowed to happen, we would stay there again next year when we do the same trip. However, given the circumstances we will never stay there again. I would rather pay more money and get a good night's sleep than save money and sleep only two hours. Unfortunately, I don't consider this hotel good value for the money. Clean room is not enough to gain my loyalty.

Room Tip: Don't stay here if you want to get a good night's sleep. That is my advice to you. Stay in B...

Stay there whenever I go home for family reunion in W.VA. It's very clean. The staff was very friendly. It's conveniently located just off Interstate 77. There are lots of restuarants close by. some within walking distance. I would recommend to others.

We were happy with this hotel for the price we paid. Lobby has a computer for guest use, breakfast is pretty simple, but ok, our room was clean and hotel was neat and quiet while we were there. 2 pick-ups with ATV trailers (one of them extra long with 4 ATVs) were able to park just behind the building, so parking is fine. Nothing fancy here, but nothing to complain about either.

We ate at the Applebees (10% discount with room key) beside it, and were pleasaantly surprised by the quality and price of the food. The West Virginia Welcome Centre is just up the road, and there are a number of stores nearby (Walmart among them). It is easy to find, just off the highway. Staff pleasant and helpful.
