We were heading north and needed to overnight. Most of the other hotels were booked and two places nearby wanted $150 for a room., which was way too much for that area. So we stayed at the Days Inn.

Considering that we arrived late, I wasn't going to be that fussy at all, but the room was not clean, the bed was uncomfortable , I left my shoes on in the room..does that tell you something? Frankly, the entire hotel needed updating. There was an additional charge for the room safe which was never used and I didnt even know about it.. Funny how they never mentioned that charge and availability at the check-in! The only good thing was that there was a good selection of restaurants nearby within walking distance.

We left early to get out of the hotel and back on the road, and I was happy we did. My advice is unless they do a major overhaul, it is not even worth the $79 to stay there, avoid it if you can.

Friendly, helpful staff, clean room, indoor pool, breakfast, wireless.
Thin exterior walls through which we heard some road noise and loud leaf blowing from an adjacent property at 1:30am.

My mother and I stayed here twice: Once in June when I came to a nearby university to register for classes, and once in August when she helped me move in.

They didn't get their wireless internet until August, but it was a godsend: my significant other was starting to worry.

The Days Inn, admittedly is difficult to reach from US Highway 460: it's tucked away on a side road. However, there is a multitude of restaurants, fast food, and gas stations, not to mention other hotels in the general vicinity.

I personally did not experience bugs or unpleasant staff, but the room was nothing to write home about; it gave me a bed, internet, and some TV to watch the news... There, the hotel trinity is complete.

If you just want a room with a bed, TV, and a wifi signal, you can't go wrong with this hotel, but you won't get something bloody spectacular either.

Talking about awful. That is the Days Inn in Princeton, WV.

Stay here and regret it.

The staff was mean.

They had bugs and the housekeeper never came.

This was an poor excuse for a hotel. The room was not clean, and bathroom was especially dirty. There was hair, and some kind of yellow goop on the rim of the toilet. The phone did not work, so had to have night staff come fix it, but it took them an hour to arrive. There was ice on the sidewalks, and there was no attempt to melt it. The front desk staff were not very friendly. Go to the Sleep Inn... its right down the street.
