Description: This restaurant is located near Pipestem state Park in West Virginia, the oak is an actual oak tree that is 800 years old the scenery is beautiful. We were there with a party of five and ordered steak, fish and crab cakes, everyone of us felt the food was very good. The atmosphere was wonderful, the service was attentative. We did have reservations, moderately priced meal. I do recommend this restaurant.

“Nice evening with family.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2012 via mobile

Atmosphere is relaxed and family friendly. The oak tree is wonderous. Service friendly. Receiving food was a bit slow. Food was very good but the Bean soup was a little bland. I would go back if in area again.

“Upscale Country Restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2012

High cuisine in a picturesque country house. Very diverse and elegantly prepared entrees. A bit pricey but very much worth it.
The old oak tree is impressive and a good setting for a family reunion group photo of all 20 of us.

Pleasant surroundings and good food for a reasonable price. The oak tree in the yard is truly remarkable.
