We stayed in a Junior Suite this past Saturday and it was lovely and spacious and the bathroom was also incredible. The jazz trio playing on the courtyard was an added bonus. What a relaxing visit as always!

My husband and I (and our puppy) stayed at the Blennerhassett and absolutley loved it--We will be going back there. The room was very nice, pet friendly, and the entire staff was helpful & courteous.
The food & drinks were also very good. Spat's was an excellent dining experience. We booked under the "Fall Frenzy" reservation package and found this to be a great deal. The cost was very reasonable for the experience. We would highly recommend the Blennerhassett to anyone that may be considering a stay there.

Staying at the Blennerhassett Hotel was a last minute decision. While driving through WV, we decided to spend the night and began looking for a hotel. We were intrigued by the 100 year old historic hotel and decided to take a look. We were warmly greeted by the staff who were happy to show us the three levels of rooms. Since it was already late afternoon, we were able to negotiate a reasonable rate for a very nice room. Rooms are beautifully appointed and luxurious.
We did not eat at the hotel but did find several restaurants about 10 minutes away. As far as we could see, there was not too much to do around the hotel.

The hotel was nice. No help in fixing the problem of a broken shower. Front desk didn't make any effort to fix the issue. All i got was ill send the matience man up. The front desk lady said checkout was at noon or we would be charged another day. Ill never return again because nobody cared what a big deal it was for me and nobody fixed anything. Stay at the wyndham its just as nice, cheaper and the showers work!

I spent one night here while traveling through WV. I had visited the hotel many times years ago but had never spent the night. I grew up not far from here so it was a historical moment for me. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. I was worried about parking however they have valet service which made it easier with suitcase transport. The room was small with a king bed but was well appointed, clean and good wifi. The room rates were only slightly higher than the chains and I can honestly say that the value was there as I have stayed in most of the alternatives. I also liked having a nice bar and restaurant in the hotel, as I was tired and did not want to have to drive to dinner. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Blennerhassett is older hotel in downtown Parkersburg. The outside of the building is beautifully restored and it has a nice lobby. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. The room was somewhat small compared to today's standards, but was very clean and comfortable. The only negatives for us was that that self parking was rather far away (valet is available and it is free, but we prefer self parking, which was also free) and the elevators are slowwwwww, so we ended up using the stairs. The dinning experience was also wonderful (we'll write a separate review for that).

This is a beautiful hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful, although the reception staff did not look as professional as I would have expected, in such and environment.Perhaps a uniform for staff could take care of this,
Room was very comfortable, clean and we would recommend this hotel to everyone. The Art gallery and antique store on the same street as the hotel are both must visits and the Island was really fun,and just a lovely place.
