“Tightest Slots Anywhere”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

My third and last trip to this casino. Played several slots never a payout worth anything. Played over $300.00 Wheel of Fortune dollar machine max bet not one Spin. Never another dime to this casino it just doesn't pay and I like slots. Have better luck at the Cherokee Harrahs and any place in Vegas. Don't play the slots and expect any return, better yet go somewhere else and have some fun. No fun here.

“Too Bad The Nice Hotel Staff Overshadowed By Racist Casino Staff”
Reviewed October 28, 2013

I’d like to start out with the positive. By far the strongest plus
are the hotel employees. My first interaction was on the phone when
I made the reservations, very friendly service. Checking in was also
a very positive experience, the lady at the counter was very friendly
and helpful; and the cleaning crew was friendly as well. But the two
best hotel employees I interacted with were the guy that helps with
the luggage and the lady that cleans up the dining room tables and
refreshes some of the breakfast items. It’s really a shame that in the
two days I had breakfast that no one was helping that poor lady. She
was literally running to refresh coffee and clean up the tables; I’m
curious how many people they will have to hire in order to replace her
if she leaves.

Aside from the fact that no one helps that lady clean up the dining
room, my only hotel complaint is that the walls are ridiculously thin.
When not deployed as an Army Reservist I work at a consulting company
and I travel every week unless I’m on vacation. I have never stayed
at a hotel with walls as thin as here.

The casino was a very negative experience because of blatant racism
shown by one of the employees at the craps table (everyone else was
really nice). His name was Jay, and he was tall and thin (there was
more than one Jay). He made racist comments while talking to one of
the players. The first incident was when he was telling a player
about a blackjack or poker game that he was a player in. He
complained that another player came in and ruined the game and kept on
referring to this person as the “damn Asian” guy. Being half Asian I
felt like saying something to him but I didn’t want to create a scene
and ruin the night for everyone. When he was saying this I thought it
was disgusting but gave him the benefit of the doubt that he didn’t
know I was part Asian. A little bit later a black male joined the
table and talking to the same customer he brought up a story of how
some “black guy” didn’t know how to play craps. He kept on talking
about the “black guy” and it was then that I realized that he made it
a point to talk about this in front of the black player, just as he
made it a point to talk about the “damn Asian” in front of me. I
regret not saying anything to him because I guarantee you that I’ve
done more for this country than he has. I sure didn’t see him by my
side when I was in one of my Iraq tours (2005-06, 2007-08) or my recent
tour in Afghanistan (2012-13).

The hotel/casino asked me about my stay and I told them all of this. They replied with a nice letter saying that was unacceptable but I don't know what, if anything, they did about it.

“Ok for a rest stop”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

This is a nice but small casino. We stopped here while traveling thru WV and had an ok time. Not much service on floor and no drink stations for nonalcoholic drinks. Most servers seem more interested in not serving and thought at least could fill nonalcoholic drinks and leave on bar for pick up by customers if not willing to bring to machines.

“Not bad for the area...”
Reviewed October 14, 2013 via mobile

The casino has most of the usual slots and table games. The best aspect of the casino is that it is totally non-smoking. The food is acceptable and especially good when nightly specials are offered, however service is horrible.

Reviewed September 15, 2013

Well my families stay was great, the staff was great except for the bellman, Chris, we have stayed at this hotel before and never experienced this. He would not stop talking about himself. We asked him to stop but he keep on and on, he even came into our room my wife felt uncomfortable. But other than that it was great.
the food and everything was great except for this.
