Grand Vue is a clean park. There is a swimming pool. Playground for children, miniature golf. Walking trails, mountain bike trails, and zip lines. There's cabins and cottages to stay in. They have picnic shelters. They have a nice banquet hall. There is a par three golf course. There is live entertainment at the amphitheater. There is also frisbee golf. The children really enjoy the playground, they never want to leave.

What they don't tell you when you make your reservation is that you will be climbing the tower several times while carrying approximately 15-20 pounds worth of equipment and a clumsy harness. This is not the usual zip-line. It is poorly designed and does not give a true sip-line or canopy tour experience. I have been on many zip-lines and have never had to carry the weight I did on this one or have to climb a tower over and over again. Zipping should feel freeing and wonderful and not a clumsy heavy experience. The people who run this zip seem to take down any negative comments. I talked to at least a dozen people who live in Wheeling that said they didn't like this course and never experienced a zip-line like this. So I'm not the only one. They should disclose that it's awkward and heavy to carry around a 15 pound trolley. I guess if you have never experienced a real zip-line or canopy tour you might like this but it's not the best sip you will ever be on. Also the bridges are awkward when carrying that weight. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Find a real course there are plenty around. It's the worst $80 plus dollars you will spend.

You are correct in the fact that this is not your USUAL Zip Line course. You are incorrect though on all of your other points. Our course was infact built by a professional course designer who has built over 1000 Zip Line spans in 40 state and 12 different countries. Their name is Experiential Resourses Inc. from Lahaina, Hawaii. Their qualifications and portfolio can be found at experientialresourses.net. You do need to carry a 10lb, not 15-20 pound trolly with you, but wether your on the 944' line #5 or the 1480' line #7 or the 2100' long line #8 it is "feel freeing and wonderful" according to the thousands who have enjoyed our zip lines. Our course was designed to be challenging and different. If any one would have a question or concern before you book you tour please contact me, Rick Vargo, Director of Operations, 304.845.9810 - 408

We stayed at Grand Vue Park during our visit to WVP. The park is beautiful. It exceeded all of my expectations! The cabins were nicely furnished and very well maintained. Plenty of room for everyone! There is so much to do at the park, a great family environment. If you want comfort and privacy this is it! So much better than a hotel, and close enough to attractions that you won't be inconvenienced.

Visited the Park today to experience the facility. The Staff was extremely professional and friendly. The zip lining was amazing. The park is very family oriented, with so much to do. We had the opportunity to tour the property with the General Manager Mr. White whom I found very professional, knowledgeable, and takes a lot of pride in the facility.I highly recommend everyone to visit and experience the fun this park has to offer.

First of all it is great park. The cabins are excellent and well maintained. The cabins are situated on top of small hills and provides some great views. There are facilities for camp fires. Also the place is conveniently located - within 10 minute drives are Walmart, CVS etc.
The cabins tend to get sold out for the summer and bookings must be made well in advance. There are families that rent these cabins a year in advance. Also from June - October, the cabins must be rented for a minimum period of 1 week.
There are plenty of activities to do in the park - bird watching walk, zumba dance, ziplines, yoga etc. and is excellent for a week long family vacation.
