To its credit - the architecture, verticality and aesthetics are very nice on this campus (downtown). Lots of walking options - which is nice. Didn't care for the through traffic across the campus - and potential pedestrian impact issues. Good bookstore and student union. Nice parking garage by bookstore.

We visited WVU just as the autumn colors were coming out and it is a nice walk up University Avenue. You realize quickly why they are called the Mountaineers as the university is really built on a mountain. It is right off the downtown area and well worth walking around the campus if you are visiting.

Marriottts continue to excell !!!! This newly renovated hotel is contemporary, extremely clean rooms,
incredible bedding and pillows make it nearly impossible to get anywhere on time and staff is beyond
accommodating. A Starbucks in the lobby completes your stay!

I graduated from Frostburg University in the late 60's. Morgantown reminded of that kind of atmosphere on steroids. Large student presence in town. Variety of places to eat. Stayed at Marriott Riverfront and it was lovely. Obviously, football reigns supreme on campus.Students were friendly. Brunch at Table 9 was good. Chicken and waffles and omelette both good.

We were there for a campus tour. Our tour guide was wonderful and the 2.5 hour tour was very thorough. Our guide, Kirsten, even spent about 30 minutes talking with us and answering questions.

Always majestic and impressive. This was the first time in my life I have been there and there wasn’t a football game going on. So it was nice to see it like that.

The School has an excellent Campus and The City is most welcoming to students, and their families. The City is surprisingly Progressive. We are opening A NEW BUSINESS THERE IN THE FALL. excited to become new residents of Morgantown.

Attended spring graduation ceremonies for my daughter. We spent time walking the downtown campus, shopping in the bookstore and soaking up the atmosphere. Campus is lovely this time of year. Lots of good memories as this is also my parent’s alma mater. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful to my daughter to work out the details for her graduation. She had earned an online Masters so she did had to handle everything remotely. Could not have had a better graduation weekend experience.

As an alumni, I love this school and it's campus. Plenty to do with loads of great places to eat and first class sporting venues
