My husband has been in the Morgantown Rehab Hospital for 6 months and I wanted to try a different motel/hotel. I chose this one because of the washer/dryer. I found out the dryer wasn't working when I went to wash hubby's clothes. Then I wanted to take a tub bath. The drain stopper wasn't the right one, wouldn't close off. Went to the front desk and asked for help. The manager had the front desk lady look in other rooms/tubs to see if we could find something that would work. We didn't. They offered to move me, but I already had my things strung out in the room and the bed turned down. Had they offered the jacuzzi room, I would've switched. The manager did give me 10% off on the room.
I was surprised that the room had a mini fridge and a microwave. The pricier places I'd been staying didn't offer that in the double rooms.
When I checked out the next morning, another couple ahead of me had complaints about their room. When it was my turn, the desk clerk said "and what is your complaint?" I told him what had happened. He said that made 5 complaints in one morning. I told him I wouldn't be staying there again.
The room itself was okay though, the bathroom is smaller to allow for the larger room, which was okay. The bed was comfortable. I did find several long black hairs in the towel mat for the floor.
I left my therapeutic pillow at the hotel by mistake and called within 2 hours of checking out. They said they would look for it and for me to call back. When I did Michael said they did not find it. I have a hard time believing that since my pillow was in a brown case and all the bed sheets where white. I have left messages with Wyndham Hotel group with no help from them other then giving me the owners name and WRONG number. I have left messages for the owner to call me and have not heard from him. The rooms where ok but not good. I tried staying at this hotel a year before and had to leave because the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling and their idea of fixing it was just putting it back up into the ceiling. We didn't stay then and I tried to give them another chance but I guess the last laugh was on me. I will never stay there again nor will by parents who were traveling with me.
