Kids eat free, large menu. We were very satisfied with the choices and quality of food. The setting (inside a Holiday Inn) wasn't great. The only windows look out at the hotel pool. Clean and service was good.

I am usually skeptical of buffets, but after taking my mother to eat year several years ago for Mother's Day, we decided to try it again for Easter. We were not disappointed. The Chicken Tortilla Soup was extremely good! The person carving was quite accommodating and pleasant. (opposite of what we had when we ate at the Charles Town Races - Hollywood Casino last year for Mother's Day) - ugh!
There was a nice selection of foods, featuring steamed shrimp, steamed ship round and ham available along with nice salads and vegetables. We will return again!

We drove 30 minutes from Winchester and will definitely return. Our reservation was for 12 and we were taken in at about 12:08. Our attendant was Sam and he was very attentive at refilling our drinks and taking away dirty plates. The buffet is set up in the hall and was one of the best we've had. The chicken tortilla soup was exceptional as were the vegetable medley and the roasted potatoes. The potatoes were cooked with onions and had just the right amount of grease. Most potatoes on buffets are dried and tasteless but not these. There were also several seafood choices including shrimp that were very good. The carving station featured ham and beef that were cut to your liking. The ham was very good but the star was the roast beef. The chef was very cordial and carved rare to well done. The beef was exceptionally tender and tasty. There was also chicken stuffed with dressing that was very good. There was also a salad section that was pretty basic featuring lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, beets and only ranch and french dressings. That was the only weak part of the meal. The employees were very nice, the food was good and the atmosphere was quiet considering the amount of people. We were shocked that the lines were not long at all and everything moved quickly. Well done Heatherfields.

Most of the people in my group (five of them) got the Delmonico steak and loved it.. Two got the ribs and really enjoyed them.. They had enough left over to take with them for lunch the next day.. I had the New York Strip steak.. It was not all that good. If I had it to do over, I would get the Delmonico.. Several of us ordered dessert.. All of them were supposed to be slices of pie, but they came out looking like circular things.. I had the peanut butter pie, and it had a really good taste.. My friend had the cheesecake, which she really liked.. I would def recommend this restaurant..

The food was excellent and the service was good as well. It was nice to stay in the hotel and go to the restaurant and not have to get out in the cold.
