Last Saturday, me and my girlfriend took the 4-5 hour wild cave tour of Lost World Caverns. I can honestly say that it was not only the best 70$ i have ever spent, but it was also one of the most amazing things i have ever experienced. We both expected not too much more than a slightly more in depth tour than the commercial tour. We were WAY off. You start out in the commercial area of the cave.....and then literally hop the fence and disappear into the wild, untamed depths. There are many activities, some of which aren't for the feint of heart, but you can easily pick and choose which you will partake in. Through the 4 hours we learned about the cave (Steve is the best guide EVER!) crawled in the mud and through tight spots, scaled rocks, and had an absolute blast. And just to top it off Steve fed us lunch, but only after he gave us all the opportunity to have a hot shower. My girlfriend and i drove 6 hours to take this cave tour, and it was worth every minute of driving. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Lewisburg is a little out of the way in West Virginia. I was white water rafting with friends in Fayetteville and we took the drive to Lewisburg for some self guided cave tour adventure. The price for the self guided tour is very reasonable and there is a nice gift shop and museum to visit as well. The formations in the cave are spectacular and the signs explaining what they are and how they were formed are well done. It was a good addition to our trip.

We went as a group of 8, had another couple there who joined. So 10 people total for the 4 hour guided tour. From beginning to end, just an awesome trip. Our guide, Steve, was wonderful at telling us what we needed to know, challenging us a bit and being safe and fun all at the same time. Provide all safety gear, drinks and snacks, and a fantastic lunch after wards. Even made accommodations for 2 vegetarians in our group. The gift shop is very nice and extremely reasonable with pricing, unlike most gift shops in touristy places like this. Overall a great exciting trip that is well worth the price and time.

My fiancé and I went on the wild cave tour a few days ago and had a blast. It is definitely not something you get to do every day. Our guide was Steve who is a co-owner. He was very entertaining and knowledgeable. We definitely got muddy and pushed our limits a few times but always felt very safe. I'm not big on bugs and bats but we were having so much fun you don't even notice. It definitely is a physical trip and I was a little sore the next day. Included is a snack a hot lunch and a cd of pictures from your trip which you can't beat for the price. Not to mention all the gear you need and a hot shower afterwards. This tour is definitely a must do if you are feeling adventurous and want an experience you will be telling everyone about! We can't want to see our pictures :)

We were looking for an adventure that will be extreme enough for our kids, who have done it all - zipline. rafting, rapelling and more. And this adventure was great! Steve, the owner and guide was really nice, and made us feel safe. He was very patient with me, who is not so fit or fast, and all in all we spent a great day. Lunch was provided and it was a treat - not to go looking for a place to eat when every muscle in your body hurts (but the good kind of hurt). Bring old clothes and shoes because you will not want to bother with washing it all after... the place has showers as you leave the cave completely covered in mud. Bring flip flops for the showers!
