“A little disappointing”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 15, 2010

Read all the good reviews on this site and thought we'd have a good dinner in a nice local palce. Food was just okay - somewhat disappointing. Portions were large and service was fine. I would go back and try it again when we are in Lewisburg but wouldn't make a special trip to eat here.

“Just OK”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2010

We left the idyllic confines of the Greenbrier, for a dinner out in Lewisburg. For a small town restaurant, the food was pretty good. But, for the quality I thought it was excessively expensive. Both of our steaks were overcooked. We pointed out that they were overdone. The waitress looked at them and said "They look bloody to me." I guess we were spoiled coming from the Greenbrier, but we were disappointed.

“Great food, good prices”

Came here instead of spending a small fortune at the Greenbrier. Extensive menu and reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Would definitely come back!

“Cozy, Delicious, Affordable, Comforting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2010

The title pretty much says it all. Is the food going to surprise you with creativity? No. Look elsewhere for that. But if you want a delicious, uncomplicated meal at a fair price, this is it. The wife had a Cajun chicken alfredo dish for $13--deliciously creamy and just as you would expect--but enough for two meals. And it came with a salad.

My almond-crusted chicken ($19) was also huge and tasty and came with a baked potato, veggies, and soup or salad.

The atmosphere is dimly lit, with French artsy posters on the wall. Free parking on the street.

When looking for it, be advised that the street numbers start over again at Main Street. (So from the Greenbrier, cross Main and look to your left after a block or so.)
