“Great food, good prices”

Came here instead of spending a small fortune at the Greenbrier. Extensive menu and reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Would definitely come back!

“Cozy, Delicious, Affordable, Comforting”
Reviewed January 3, 2010

The title pretty much says it all. Is the food going to surprise you with creativity? No. Look elsewhere for that. But if you want a delicious, uncomplicated meal at a fair price, this is it. The wife had a Cajun chicken alfredo dish for $13--deliciously creamy and just as you would expect--but enough for two meals. And it came with a salad.

My almond-crusted chicken ($19) was also huge and tasty and came with a baked potato, veggies, and soup or salad.

The atmosphere is dimly lit, with French artsy posters on the wall. Free parking on the street.

When looking for it, be advised that the street numbers start over again at Main Street. (So from the Greenbrier, cross Main and look to your left after a block or so.)

“Nice Restaurant”

Passing through Lewisburg, and just happened upon this place for lunch. Very good food, friendly staff, exactly what we were looking for. Lewisburg is a neat place, worth spending a few minutes exploring the town if you have time.

“Always a reliably good meal, just be prepared to wait.”
Reviewed July 12, 2009

There aren't a lot of options in Lewisburg. Food and Friends is a great one. Reservations are encouraged but not necessary if you don't mind waiting 20-30 minutes. I've eaten there many times and never had a bad meal. Wines are reasonably priced. Food is always appropriately cooked. I've eaten seafood, pasta and steaks. All are good and I'd probably recommend them in that order. Although you will likely not be running off to do something else after dinner in Lewisburg, do be prepared for a wait. Service is a bit slow but due to being busy. Including appetizer, bottle of wine, entrees and desert, plan on spending $75-100 for two adults.
