I swear, the food at Candlewyck just gets better & better; and owner Fred Engle & his son Cole r incomparable hosts.
Adore the MD crab soup, w is a staple.
Made a meal the other day of 2 appetizers: sweet potato fries w carmelized pecans & honey mustard dipping sauce, & miso wings. *Not* exactly health food, but scrumptious. They were specials; can't wait for them to pop up again.
Also worth noting is a BLT on brown bread w potato salad; satisfying & mouthwatering.
Fred's Italian food, wh is always on the menu, is *much* better than what is served by Castiglia's, wh was rated #1 in Keyser -- heaven knows why. (Huge portions do u no good if the food doesn't taste good!)
