Always enjoy this place. Great food and take me back to my younger years. Hotdogs are the best! Service is wonderful!

This place is the real, 1950's drive-in deal, not like Sonic. Service is quick. Menu is more varied than you'd expect. Not just a root beer joint by any means. Great cheeseburgers and onion rings particularly. You do have to eat in the car, take away, or sit outside. What did you expect? (And thank heaven, it is NOT Burger King!)

We've been to Frostop Drive-In a few times in the past couple years. Mediocre food for a decent price. Their root beer floats are good (but it would take a lot to mess up a root beer float.) Last night was the clincher, though. After a while, one gets tired of their fries drowning in nacho cheese & chili sauce, which is 'the norm' at Frostop. So to solve this, we asked to have them on the side. Before our order came up, the 'car hop' aka curbside server came out & said 'Addison couldn't do it that way!" Huh? (Guess Addison's the evening shift supervisor, he was exercising his authority & he makes the rules. LOL) Well, we got our order, the nacho cheese was on the side (wasn't a big deal) but no chili on the fries. (We paid for it, so we should get it one way or another, right?) Called to car hop over & told him our order was missing the chili & next time "We'll go down the road to Midway Drive-In where they try to please their customers." Finally got the fries w/ the chili on it w/ side of nacho cheese. SO IF YOU WANT EXCELLENT SERVICE, DELICIOUS FOOD FOR A DECENT PRICE & HAVE IT YOUR WAY, go down the road a few blocks to the MIDWAY DRIVE-IN!! (First St & 7th Ave : ) Guess the Frostop Drive-In is riding on their reputation from when they opened in 1959. It's not cutting it 45 yrs later.

Great quick stop off the Interstate for a different fast lunch. Children ( and some old people) love to see the root beer mug spin atop the small building. Rootbeer and hotdogs are what they are known for, but barbeques and foil packaged chips are great, too. Root beer float in a frosty mug is yummy.

I love the root beer at this place. It is the best in town. The food is ok. The service is somewhat lacking. It is an okay to get lunch. For some reason children love it.
