It is a Starbucks, so there's not much new to say about their offerings, food, coffee, etc., except that generally, I find Starbucks mostly very consistent, and the staff & location often makes or breaks a particular store. This one is located in the new-ish Pullman Square retail development, with shops, restaurants and a movie theater, steps from the Ohio River. As a result (I have family living right in downtown Huntington, about 3 blocks away) this what I'd consider a prime location. The staff during my visits (4 times across 5 days in May) were always cheerful and friendly, made up in part of university students. The place is popular with students as customers (ie, from Marshall University in town) and there are clearly several "regular customers" I saw each time I went. The store faces onto a central lawn; during the spring/summer months, there is a live music series held on the lawn.
Huntington's downtown is making good strides to revitalize itself, after a serious decline; Pullman Square is a very nice addition, and many of the historic buildings directly across from the Starbucks are being renovated and repurposed at last.
