I went to Max and Erma's to try one of their famous hamburgers, and they delivered. I ordered the Diablo Burger, cooked medium. It was cooked perfectly and the blue cheese coleslaw perfectly complemented the spicy mayonnaise. My girlfriend ordered a plain cheeseburger and it too was delicious. We ordered the soft pretzel sticks and they were excellent (the beer cheese sauce is an interesting and delicious combo of flavors). Finally, some cookies for dessert. I have to say I wasn't as impressed by the cookies as the rest of the meal, but the triple fudge are pretty fantastic. The interior was nice, kind of an artsy, bistro-like feel. And our waitress was superb. Prices weren't too bad, just don't expect to pay fast food prices because you're definitely on a whole different level than fast food.
