“Great food, good service”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

There were 9 of us and I'm sure it is a problem with larger parties, but the service was without a hitch.

“Average Food, Less-Than-Average Service”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

We went to Taste of Asia to celebrate my son's 14th birthday this past Sunday for lunch, a group of nine. Amongst our number were one person with a disability and four elderly folk. Although our server came to take our order within good time, from then it all went rather downhill. Our appetizers were late and tepid, with two tables of guests getting their entrées before us. Apparently only our server could bring our meals to us and as he was busy, our food just "sat", waiting to be brought to us. Then only half the meals were delivered to our table, with the two eldest members of our party plus two more of us having to wait another 15 minutes until our mains turned up. By then five of the party were in pain at having to sit and wait for so long just to have lunch and we had to leave before all meals were finished so everyone could go home (I had already informed the restaurant that our party had people in it who could not be left waiting for very long for food). However, the restaurant DID take the drinks and appetizers off the bill, which was appreciated.

The food itself was average, with no fully-steamed options given for dumplings, only fried or seared. The special fried rice dishes have no vegetables, which was disappointing, and were overly-oily. Plus, the sushi choices were very expensive. However, coming from NZ and Australia, where Asian restaurants are very high in number, we have probably been spoiled.

When we come back to the Tri-State area, we won't go back to Taste of Asia.

“Do not bother”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

In a nut shell: Horrible service from staff and management.

They need to learn what the word "reservation" means.

Could not tell you about the food, I did not put up with that abuse long enough to get any.

I would not go back if you paid me.

“Taste of a lots of things!”
Reviewed February 22, 2013

This is not my top choice in Huntington, but if you like Asian Food, this place has good solid food and a lot of selection. I prefer the Thai dishes. Service is always good.

“yes for lunch, but not sushi”
Reviewed December 15, 2012

Okay for lunch, I do enjoy their gyoza, but do not like their sushi - the crab in the California rolls tastes fake.
