“Need some ambiance”
Reviewed July 13, 2014 via mobile

This place has potential. The owners need to do a little traveling and check out other restaurants and how they're decorated. Needs a little sprucing up. This place is the only thing in the area so it gets good reviews. Food is average at best and they offer a good variety to choose from and specials daily. Photos of menu posted as well

“Yummy”
Reviewed June 16, 2014

What a wonderful restaurant! The burgers & fried falafel burger are out of this world. The veggies & salad were fresh, fresh, fresh!
We were there for lunch recently and since the portions are so plentiful we just had cereal for dinner, we were stuffed!
We highly recommend the Pretty Penny!

“Good food, great service”
Reviewed June 16, 2014

We showed up with nine people, were promptly seated and served. The food was good, with some of it organic. Service was prompt and relaxed. We keep coming back.

“Can't be beat”
Reviewed June 4, 2014

The Pretty Penny is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. The food is honestly to die for. I've tried just about everything on the menu, and you can't go wrong. The atmosphere is down-home, small-town friendly, though can get a little lively when they have live music, at which point it becomes the hub of the community. Love the old building which houses is, love the atmosphere, the service is attentive and friendly, it's as cheap as you could hope for, and everything is fresh, home-made, and often locally-sourced.

“Great Find!”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

We stopped for a drink while traveling to Lewisburg. We were touring, on vacation from England. The very nice lady at the Pretty Penny made the BEST tea we have ever had in the states. Earl grey made with HOT water as it should be. We sat on the porch in complete quietness, the leaves falling around (fall time) it was very special and after nearly a month in USA we often still talk about the Pretty Penny.
