“A Must Try”
Reviewed July 14, 2014

My husband and I are new to the Fayetteville area and have been visiting local restaurants when we've gotten a chance. So far the Society is, by far, our favorite spot. We have made it our Monday lunch routine, as my husband loved Mac N Cheese Mondays. The food is delicious every time. My personal favorite sandwich is the Washington, and the pimento cheese fries are awesome. The staff here is always friendly and attentive. We have had the pleasure of having Thom as our server each of the 3 times we have been there. The first time we came there and he found out we had just moved to the area, he brought out books about hiking trails and attractions in the area for us to look through to familiarize ourselves with the town while we waited for our lunch. If you're coming to the Fayetteville area, trying Secret Sandwich Society is definitely a must.

“Very Cool Place!”
Reviewed July 8, 2014

Interesting burger combinations, great fries, yummy dipping sauces (roasted garlic aoili!), cool patio with big windows, knowledgeable, efficient server, interesting local beers. What's not to love? Definitely not your cookie-cutter chain eatery, but a nice local joint that is exactly what we look for when we are traveling! Only complaint would be that the server didn't ask how we wanted our burgers cooked, so they were all more done than we would have preferred (we are medium rare people). Maybe it is their policy not to do burgers less, but that was the only negative.

“Best ever”

Been here three times and each time is as good as the last. Fresh local ingredients. Probably the best sandwiches I have ever had and the burgers are unbelievable! Wonderful salads and sides. Good friendly service.

“Great tasting, unusual burgers.”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

Nestled in trees down a flight of stairs, this restaurant has outdoor and indoor seating. Their burgers are quite tasty, with unique combinations of garnishes seldom found anywhere. Service is good. Frankly, these are expensive burgers, but I've never had a bad meal there!
