Good pulled pork sandwich. Terrible coleslaw. Good if you are really hungry but not worth the wait. Waitress are young and inexperienced.

“Great place for local tastes”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2012

Service was friendly and prompt. The salmon was delicious. Yes, had the ribs too and they were tender, meaty and delicious.

Seemed like a lot of locals were there on a Saturday night. Interesting, rustic atmosphere - dollar bills stapled to the walls with notes written in marker on them.

“Great food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2012 via mobile

We were in west virginia on a trip and a friend who was with is and had eaten there before reccomended this place. Wings were great as were the fried pickles. I had the trout and it was cooked to perfection. My grilfriend had the ribs and they were amazing as well. The decor of all the team flags was really cool. Great food, good service, fair prices.

“Decent meal late at night”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2012

Ribs, mac and cheese and pulled pork was decent. The fried pickles were delicious and were my favorite part of the meal. It was a good stop for later in the evening when not many other places were open. Place was pretty empty...staff was nice.

“Ribs were OK, but the brisket ... oh, my !”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2012

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of our raft guide. It turned out a pretty good choice.
The menu selection is about average. The service was a bit slow, even though the place was about a third full, but the food came fairly quickly. The ribs were acceptable - they could have been a bit more tender, and the BBQ sauce was nothing special. Oh, and don't waste your money on filet mignon rollup (or something like that ). it was dry and not worth it. But the brisket that was on special was, indeed, special. Tender, succulent, with great dipping sauce. Yum ! Overall the place is a little quirky... Peanut shells go on the floor ( ok, other places do that, too ). Sports jerseys from all kinds of teams hang in the rafters. Strangest of all, there's a board with all kinds of police patches on it -- there was even one from our little town. Overall, it was just right for the sort of rustic/adventure vacation we were having
