“Interesting place, good food”

I first thought this was an Italian restaurant because of the name (I didn't see the "mexican" part on the sign), but then realized it's a take on the spelling of the word DOG (there's a lot of doggie decor inside). The menu is mostly mexican with a bit of Costa Rican thrown in. The prices were a tad high, but the food was good. The salsa is especially good, and so was the spicy honey dip that came with the shrimp starter.

Aside from the name and atmosphere the food was good as well. The carnata sandwich is spicier than expected, but they offer a great 'crabburger'! Excellent service to top it off.

My son is vegan and we found out Mexican food is a great option. A local person recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The food was very good, and my son got to eat a satisfying lunch. This is also a funny place, with lots of dog pictures all around.

I always order the either the chicken tortilla soup, the pork carnitas, or the fish tacos with sides of beans and rice. On rare occasions, they have tamales which are a real treat. I can't really speak of the other items on the menu, but you absolutely can't go wrong w/ the ones listed above. The carnitas really are to die for, and they have the best beans and rice. So thankful that this place is in Fayetteville. To rank it lower than SSS or Gumbo's is a crime. It is the real deal. If you've ever lived in Latin America, and you like authentic Latin cuisine, you will love the dishes listed above.

If you keep saying that you are wanting something different and enjoyable, then this is your place! The food is fresh and made when you order. Nothing is bulk made and sitting hours. On that note, the service is fantastic and the kitchen is quick with your order. If you have questions about a dish, the staff are more than happy to assist you. The prices are radon able and atmosphere is great for families or couples. I'll definitely return.
