My husband and I had our 45th Anniversary-Vow renewal dinner for us and our family at this restaurant and couldn't have chose a more perfect place for our special day! Manager Karen went way above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect and Chef Joe's dinner he made for us was delicious. His famous homemade cinnamon roll's are the best you'll ever find anywhere! Thank's for making our anniversary the best we could have asked for and we couldn't have found a prettier dining room for such a special occasion!

We chose this restaurant because of most of the reviews. What a wonderful surprise. Our waitress Lori was superb. If we thought it...she delivered. Can't say enough great things about her. The food was exceptional in quality and taste. Compares favorably to many of the finer restaurants we have experienced. Three of us had the filet and it was cooked to perfection. The stuffed flounder was throughly enjoyed. As
others have remarked...the cinnamon rolls are yummy.

Was told this was the place to eat in Elkins, WV. I found the food was average. Ordered a bowl of New England clam chowder that was half-full and looked and tasted like watered down, sour milk with few ingredients. The main entrée of flounder and baked potato were average. The ice tea was weak. Service was good, but all in all for the prices, I was very disappointed.

This is by far the BEST place to eat in Elkins. I think a lot of people may pass it by because it appears to be some brick building across the street from Davis Hospital and not a restaurant. Let me tell you, it's totally there loss. We were immediately greeted as soon as we walked in and were automatically made to feel at home. We were seated in the dining room and our server brought us water without even having to ask. The decor has Civil War pictures and a mural, as well as some paintings that bring the country feel together. Each table had a little lantern and a big enough cloth napkin to handle the messiest person in your group. The menu has enough variety to satisfy everyone and very reasonable prices. Our dinners (filet mignon and crab stuffed shrimp) came with two sides each, not to mention the crostini, home made rolls, and the killer cinnamon rolls at the end of the meal. This place beats the others in town hands down. Tasty food, AMAZING service, and supporting a local business... you can't beat it.

Huge portions of great food! Every one in our party loved what they ordered. We made reservations since it was before a concert, and we were in and out within about an hour. Great service from our waitress. You get what you pay for!
