Working in the area and found this little nice diner. Very nice atmosphere. Ordered the meatloaf and got a huge plate of food. Green beans, salad, potato, drink and bread for under 10 bucks. Great home cooked meal taste. Very satisfied with left overs.

My mother and I try to visit Connie's anytime we're in the area. This time we both had a grilled cheese sandwich and chili. It was delicious and served hot. We sat in a small window seat and watched the snow outside. This place is definately a local place and nothing fancy, but the food is always good, the service excellent and definately worth a visit. Also, if they have strawberry shortcake on the dessert list you should get it, you won't be dissapointed!

After learning that cafes in Chester aren't the kind that serve food, we stumbled upon Connie's and are glad we did. We had a sandwich and soup. The chili and chicken dumpling soup were good as was the sandwich. The restaurant is generally clean and nicely decorated. The next time we're shopping for Fiestaware, we'll be having lunch at Connie's.

While in Newell, WV to shop at the HL Outlet, we needed a place to eat and Connie's Corner was suggested by a local resident. Using our gps we found it twice! Meaning the one location on the gps was wrong. Once in and seated, we saw a place that was about a 30 to 50 year throwback! The old floor boards creak, the table wobbled, the chairs wiggled, the the non-smoking seating was at a minimum. The waitress was quick to wait on us. The food was served hot - but since it was all freshly prepared, it took some time to get it. But, BOY WAS THE WAIT WORTH IT!

All in our party of four ate to bursting and since we were traveling, we left the remains rather then carry out in doggy bags/boxes.

I am a breakfast person and will eat breakfast any chance I get! The "IT'S ALL IN THERE" (or something like that) had it all! Eggs, sausage, potatoes, onions, gravy, and MORE! I REALLY tried to eat it all - but, alas, I could not!

The price for my wife and i was under $20 and that even included the tip!

If you are hungry then go to Connie's Corner!
