The food, service was very good but costly for just spaghetti with no salad being served with it. Everything was delicious but would not have picked this place had known that all you got for the price was main dish with nothing else but bread. But portion served were big but would have liked a salad that wouldn't have cost another $5.00 to eat.

We went to Soho's for dinner on our one night in Charleston after reading good reviews. It was delicious - not completely authentic Italian but we decided to leave our food snob shoes at home - nicely prepared and reasonably priced. The location in the old train station is really neat, and we sat outside with our dog and had a lovely evening. The staff were WONDERFUL. They were friendly and efficient, not only let us have our dog with us but brought her water, and made it a great summer night. We enjoyed the bruschetta and my husband loved his steak with a creamy polenta. I had a side of spinach with garlic and pine nuts - very yummy! - and a side of gnocchi which were tasty but could have used a sauce. We'd go back!

This is a great Italian restaurant in the Capitol Market, a must visit place that is in a old railroad depot/station. Fruit and vegetables on sale outside. Inside, Soho's and meat, fish, wine, etc. markets. At Soho's we had the same waiter we had at Tidewater Grill for Sunday lunch, Richard. Richard is like most professional waiters, he tends to oversell a little, but he is very personable and knowledgeable. He steered us in right direction, particularly in tomato bisque, the soup of the day. Wonderful. Inspired me to come home start making my own. Place was busy, so reservation might be good.

Best italian restaurant in town, if that's your thing. Wine selection is great too. Steak salad at lunch is delicious.
