This place was awesome. The service was great she was there when we least expected her. Always asking if we needed something. She nearly fell into annoying, but managed to stay on this side of the line. Now time for the most important thing the food, it was insanely good. The portion was what amazed me it was as big as a loaf of bread. When I bit into it it was like riding a rocket. When you get into Charleston stop by this place, it is well worth the stop.

SoHOs always delivers well prepared and delicious food. The bartenders make excellent martinis and the wait staff is knowledgeable and attentive. The atmosphere is hip and modern. It is the perfect place for dinner with friends. However the male host is often rude even to frequent customers. Rumor has it, he is related to one of the owners. Be sure to make reservations and enjoy.

my husband and i ate there last night for our "valentines day dinner" we had reservations at 8:30 because that was what we were told the only time left to be available. we arrived about 8:15 and was seated within about 10 minutes. we sat at the table for a good 5 minutes before someone dropped off a very sad looking plate of bread... it looked as though it was the left over plate from the people before us. it had 3 small pieces on the plate which were just thrown on there... when we were waited on we asked our waiter for a wine suggestion and he seemed to be in too big of a hurry to really help us. he quickly just threw two suggestions out there at us. he didn't even ask what we were really looking for.. we are typically pretty laid back people and do not complain, so we simply chose a wine and carried on with our night. i ordered the walnut-squash lasagna which was fabulous.. if you are a vegetarian you have to try this. my husband ordered the chicken alfredo and he did not seem to be impressed...

then i ordered the bread pudding for dessert and it was very good as well.. they had moscato on the dessert wine list which is mine and my husbands favorite, so we were pleased.... overall it was an ok experience, but the wait staff did not go out of their way to make your experience special at all.... not sure we will really go back.... but again the lasagna was fabulous.....

We called Sohos on NewYears Eve from the road. Sharon was terrific, initially saying they were book for several hours, then suggesting that we could eat at the " very nice bar" and since we were on the road, she would hold us seats. Indeed,, she treated us like old family friends when we arrived (it was packed) and the bartenders also knew our names. The hospitality was first-rate, the drinks were excellent and the food couldn't have been better. A perfect dining experience!
